Interested in gutting this and using some parts and pieces but it would be nice to know that it will make it 100 miles to my house. Also no contact information, lol. I’d give him about 1k for it

Looks like its in decent shape. The cop out about not being able to read the codes is suspect though. If it legitimately runs fine, I'm sure it would make the 100 mile trip. But I highly recommend figuring out what the code is beforehand.

If his mechanic can’t read his codes then either he time traveled back about 20 years or his mechanic shouldn’t be a mechanic. My guess is air injection faults. Just a hunch. If it isn’t overheating you should be fine. Definitely looks like it would be a good deal for $1k, if head gaskets are dry or have been done it’s worth a lot more than that.

I just want the CDL, roof bars, some misc exterior trim, right rear passenger bench seat, rear sunroof motor, passenger factory tinted window. The rest would be part-out city!!!

A standard ODB II reader can get everything but ABS codes to my knowledge

Tow it with your LR. Wait, don’t do that. I saw someone do that once. They were stuck on the side of the road with two Land Rovers that needed to be towed.

“Easy fix” - Oh yeah? Well then fix it rather than waste the time explaining that it needs to be fixed and providing me an objection to buying your car. People are so dumb!

Exactly what I was thinking.

Yeah! But depending on condition you might think about fixing and flipping it, then using your profits to buy the parts you want. I know of a few good sources that aren’t well known.

Interesting. We may need to talk offline
